Hey Gretchen Wilson here and today's question comes from Cyndy Berry in Tyrell, Texas. Cyndy asks, "What do you think is the most important lesson a mother can teach her daughter?"
That's a tough one. There are a lot of lessons I think a mother wants to teach her daughter. In fact, a mom wants to teach her daughter everything and protect her from everything and make everything perfect. But we all know the truth is that we all have to make our own mistakes and learn for ourselves. But the one thing I've learned recently, the most important thing that I want to pass on to her, is that she has to love herself and she always has to be 100%.
I've learned that recently myself. I cannot be 100% for my daughter if I’m not 100% for myself. That's the most important thing I can teach my daughter - that any mother can teach their daughter - you have to be comfortable with the skin you're in, girl.
That's all we have time for today; make sure you tune back in tomorrow and we'll have some more answers for you.

I like that commet you made about being 100% for yourself and your daughter. It's true, they look up to us for advice and it's our responsibility as a parent to be there for our kids.
