Taylor: My musical influences go from Dashboard Confessional to Miranda Lambert to George Strait to Little Big Town. I will listen to anything that I feel like is really good. When people ask me what my favorite type of music is, of course I love country music. But I love good music. Give me a song with amazing lyrics and I'll love it. So, musical influences come from every direction. Non-musical influences — my family, definitely. My mom was a big influence on me because she is a woman that I look up to. Before she had me, she was this really big business executive that worked for an ad agency. I really look up to that. I respect that she had a career on her own and lived alone. She had me when she was 30. She had a complete career of her own and was supporting herself.

Women inspire me because I think it is really cool when people accomplish things, especially women. I really look up to her for that. My dad I look up to because he is a super-fan! He loves anything I do. It is so cool to have someone so positive around who just gives me props for basically everything that I do. My mom is more down to earth, and keeps me grounded. My parents really just inspire me. Thank you for the question!
