dear Blake Im a songwriter but no one has heard of me because I have no idea how to get my songs heard. Im not in it for the spotlight I dont want to be a singer Im just a very good country song writer. Im 39 years old with 5 kids and Ive been married since I was 14 and I feel like writing is all I have to hold onto and if just one person would give me a chance I know they would love my songs and maybe even make a number one hit. Im just a country girl with nothing to call my own but no one can take away your GOD given talent. and I have written songs that bring you to tears or make you laugh for days but mostly sad songs. and I have written hundreds and only my kids and me have read them. I have a tape recorder and I sang them with no music and I promise these songs are beautiful and theyll tug at your heart strings but do you think I have a chance at getting these read by someone like you or is it just to hard to get your foot in the door so to speak? Ive written each song by myself and its like a pen and paper have become my get away place the words just come in my head and when I write thaem down I have a song. my chances are slim I know Im just so anxious to be a writer and I wanted to ask can you help me get these published or at least heard? thank you lynn manley

I have to say he is about one of the funniest singers that I have heard. As soon as I seen his response to the question I laughed out loud, and it is 5:30 in the morning. Yes I agree with the other ladies he is very handsome. Check out the songs he helped to write on his new BS album, they sound great!

Not only are you the best looking guy in country but you have a heart. At your July concert in San Diego (Wavehouse) you waited to get a picture with my son who is almost as big a fan as I am.
