Keith Urban: I've gotta say, I think being Australian is a huge part of what keeps me grounded. It's just the way it is there. You've gotta keep your feet on the ground and just be real. And the other side of it is, I love doing it. I love playing music. It's so natural to me. It's what I love to do. As passionate as I am about it, I don't take it so seriously. I don't get caught up in it. I try and keep it all in perspective. I have good and bad days like everybody else. But I think I've had long enough of paying my dues over a lot of years, so that it didn't all come at once. That's been helpful for me. A lot of artists have it happen really quick and it explodes really fast. It's hard to hang on to that. So I'm grateful that it took a long time to start coming around.

Dear Keith,
My daughter and I seen you in concert in St. Louis last month. I just have to say I think you are great. Every song is wonderful and you make the song what it is. You have the passion for the types of songs that you sing and write and as for the playing, well you can play for me anyday. I consider myself your #1 fan, oh and of course my daughter does too. We would really feel blessed if you would please email us. We really love you!
Thank You So Much

Dear Keith,

I've just returned from seeing you in Omaha, NE and St. Louis last month. So far 6 times, I wanted my husband to see you and he went with me this time and was amazed and knows now why your music and talent keeps me coming back. You are definitely grounded and have your priorities straight, not many people have the courage to go through what you've been through and make it a positive influence in your life and that's what makes you so passionate about your music, life, love for your wife, family, fans, and everyone you come in contact with. I truly believe you deserve to be happy, I've been married for 26 years, since I was 18, and wouldn't be who I am if I hadn't made mistakes and hung on to my husband who is very stable and hardworking, it's just like you can read my mind in your music and know exactly how I feel with what you write about and sing about. You said the other night it's all about love. You're so right! You make every person at your concerts know how grounded you must be and let them know there's hope for everyone to feel that way with your music and faith and all of your hard work. I truly love your music and constant encouragement, you may not realize that on a daily basis it's your music that helps keep me grounded. Thank you so much staying true to your own style of music you are so great! Also, your band members are great and seem so talented and kind, I got to talk to Jerry and Chris R. at St. Louis. Best wishes and I will be there to see you again as soon as I can and as long as you're touching my life with your music. Thanks again, sorry it's like a book!

Hi Keith, I am a huge fan. My mom is the one who turned me on to your music. She saw you several years ago in St. Charles, MO. Anyway it was the first concert her and my dad had gone to together in a really long time and each time you came back to St. Louis he would buy us all tickets to see you. He passed away suddenly in Jan. so this June's concert was especially emotional! I just want to thank you for being something special that can help us especially my mom get this rough time! Thanks! Hi Keith:
We just love your music, and your inspiration for your love of the guitars you play at each concert. We just saw your first video on GAC today, as I kept telling my husband of 32 years, you had a whole different look, at that time. Your such a cutie. We love your voice, and each and every song has been better than the last. We hope to see you in concert in 2008.
Thank you for being the entertainer that you are,
Mary

On being Australian ... Keith, On the CMAA awards several years ago (I have the video), you did a duet with my favorite artist, another Starmaker winner, LEE KERNAGHAN, on his song "Outback Club" and it think it was one of the best things you've done. Is there any chance that you might do a duet with Lee, maybe on the new CD he's releasing next year, that would be on an American release to get your old friend some well-deserved exposure up here? I know you performed at his Great Western Hotel (when he owned it). You also recorded "Lights on the Hill" with Slim Dusty. Any chance that might be released up here?

I know that you and Lee toured together early in both of your careers back in Australia before either of you made it big. Any chance of bringing him up here to tour with you?
