It's been awhile

It's been a while since I've "blogged"!

Oh I went to a great music festival in downtown Nashville this past weekend. The Luis Palau Music Festival, had featured several Christian music bands as well as some Country - LeAnn Rimes and Craig Morgan and I caught two Christian acts -The Barlow Girls and Jeremy Camp - They were great. You should check out the music if you can - very inspiring. I had a friend ask me why I wanted to go since I work these festivals all the time, and why I wanted to spend my birthday going to another one. Well...you music lovers know - you can't get enough!! ;)

And yes I said my birthday - I'm now 20somethi...okay 30something. It was uneventful. I guess that's good. Ha! I did get an ipod! So all the music I've purchased can now have a "home". It'll be great to run with it! Yea, I'm still running. Although the heat is here and its not fun to run in.

Right now I'm in Texas just outside the Country Thunder Music Festival. We're here for 4 days covering the artists and the fans - pretty much the whole festival experience. They're always cool to cover. Fans camp out and it's one artist after another. Tonight we'll catch Phil Vassar, Big and Rich, Gretchen Reba is also playing here on Saturday night so we're hoping to catch her backstage. Look for this coverage on GAC Nights. It'll most likely air the end of June, I think. I'll find out and let you know here.

Welp, I'm gonna go get some breakfast. I can't start a day without it. Although it's a Holiday Inn so only continental breakfast, meaning no pancakes! Take care guys. Thanks for loggin on and tunin' in!
