Billy, Joe, Sammy & Jo Dee

Almost the weekend!
First Marilyn thank's for your comments on the blog! I don't know the company that made the cross hat I was wearing during Fan Fair and Country Thunder but I will find out for you! I did get it while in Dallas covering the Country Thunder event. It was pretty cool! And I have certainly got a lot of use out of it! For those of you who are sick of seeing me wear it. I'm sorry.
Welp there is always something going on in town - Today Billy Currington's label is having a big ole party to celebrate Billy's album Doin' Something Right going platinum! Over 1 mill in sales! Radius 10 is where the party will take place and if you're coming to town you should check out the place. Kind of a sparse, modern, city feel that serves up pizza's and some fou fou appertizers. I dig the pizza! Anyway, I'm happy for Billy- Great singer and yes ladies everywhere agree! He is sssseexxxxxy! "Tangled Up" is a new song from Billy-coming off a new cd- He co-wrote it with husband-wife songwriting team of Aimee Mayo and Chris Lindsey.
Also going on today - Joe Nichols label is having a listening party. Industry folks are attending to hear Joe's new forthcoming cd! And if the new single "Another Side Of You" is any indication this is another killer cd from Joe! Still to this day and probably for years to come "Revelation" will be my favorite cd!
From the category of "have you heard this?" - Sammy Kershaw who has been working with independent label Category 5-the label about to release Travis Tritt's studio cd- Is going to run for lieutenant governor of the State of Louisiana. And Jo Dee Messina getting married? Word is she got engaged and keeping mum on the details. Jo Dee? Stay tuned for more!

OH I love Billy's "New Directions" and kept help but think what a great video that would have made. Kudos to Billy for pushing to get it out and congrats on his platinum!
Oh and Congrats to Jo Dee...she's always been a cutie and I'm thrilled she's so happy for her.

I am a huge fan of Billy Currington, and that is great to have his album Doin' Somethin' Right go plantinum. Yeah he is so sexy, and I can't wait to hear more about his new album since he has such a wonderful voice. I have both of his albums, and enjoy all the songs on both of them. Congradulations to Billy, and he is one of my favorite country stars.

It is nice of you to let us know what is happening in Nashville. I am proud of Billy, as I am a big fan of his. I love all his music. I followed the tour to three states last year back to back. I thought he got better every show. Anything that you can tell us about an artist will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. I am COUNTRY MUSIC'S BIGGEST FAN!!!!!

Thanks for posting the information about Joe Nichols' new album "Real Things"
Joe's label also released "#1's and More" on 7/10 that had 5 snippets from the new album "Real Things" Joe talks briefly about each song and I agree if these previews are any indication this is going to be a AWESOME album for Joe!
