CMA time

I have been meaning to write all along throughout this week of CMA Music Fest - but whew - I am beat! Standing outside in the heat takes it out of ya - that's fer sure.

I have been taping shows by the riverfront stage during CMA Music Fest. We are pretty much talking to every artist who plays the stage and there are about 28-30 artists a day! It's a lot to retain as far as their information on who does what, who wrote what - but it's always a challenge that I look forwarded to tackling.

There have been some cool moments - Chatting it up with Lorrie Morgan about her "addiction" to The Soprano's! Ha! She loves it and can't wait to the final episode but says she doesn't know what she'll do with her Sunday nights now - Ha! I know the feeling. Oh, and yes she is going to open up another restaurant! So stay tuned for that!

Eric Church was full of stories about music Fest. He said he walked downtown after dark and would just catch artists randomly on stage - like Brooks and Dunn! He was funny relying the story to me because I really saw Eric as a fan! He was so psyched to see Ronnie up there on stage at one of the little local joints on lower Broadway doing his thing! It's pretty much been non stop- There is sooo much going on from the shows I'm covering to the night shows at the stadium to all the charity events and impromptu concerts. It's just a city that is not going to sleep anytime soon! NY has nothing on Nashville during CMA Music Fest!

I promise to write more when I have some more time - And if you're reading this and you're not one of the 160 thousand here in town- We miss you!
