Recharged and Ready to Go!

Feeling recharged and ready to go again!
I sometimes forget how beautiful the state of TN is until I get back out on some of these back country roads or spend some time on one of it's lakes. Which is exactly what I did this past weekend! I don't know what it is, but it seems that people here, guys and women love to ride motorcycles. Harleys specifically. I think I am the only one who doesn't ride. Well I do on the back of someone's bike, pawned off every time. It goes something like this "Who doesn't mind taking Suzanne this time". HA! That's okay I don't mind. I get to daydream and look at the log homes and landscape of the country. I usually bring my camera with me.
I have to say it's been kind of sad to see how dry it is here. We so badly need rain in this area. And I'm happy to say this morning we have rain. Nothing near what we need but it's something!
I have a late call time for the studio today. We're taping several shows helping to promote our Fourth SpeciaL! It'll be carried live on GAC- Get this lineup! Rodney Atkins, Taylor Swift and Van Zant! Plus like every year, the Nashville Symphony. And the fireworks are seriously unmatched! They are fired over the Cumberland so you get that double dose of light from the lights bouncing off the water! It's beautiful. If you have plans to be home tune in! 9pm est! 8 central! If you're here in town-come on out to the riverfront!!
This weekend in town there is sooo much music to see! I'll have to fill you in on seeing Bruce Robison. He's the songwriter behind songs you've been hearing. For instance Tim McGraw's, Angry All The Time -George Strait's "Wrapped". Those are Bruce's songs. I've been a fan for years! And can't wait to see him- He's usually kind of mellow and insightful with songs about relationships! So he's right up my alley!! Ha!
Welp better get ready to tape- Oh have I said how grateful I am for a makeup and hair person!! Ha!

Suzanne, it's dry in Kentucky too. I keep my flowers watered but..my poor grass. I wish I was there or at least here watching GAC for the 4th. But I always head back home to West Terre Haute, IN to be with my Mom and Dad who live out in the country. They don't get GAC..shoot they can't even get ABC for some reason. But in a way, it's alright for these are the special times to catch up and just be a daughter again.

Hi there. In your journeys, have you folks checked out the GAC show in Dollywood's Pine Theater(Pigeon Forge,TN)? WOW, lots of talent...you MUST see that Arnie Shaw, does Nashville know about her?! What a singer and she seems to have a very loyal fan following(popular)...a real 'must see' show. Thanks.
